Key Features & Functionality:

• Advanced Processor & Communication: Utilizes a 32-bit processor and native Ethernet (10/100Base-T) for high-speed communication. Supports DHCP and fixed IP addressing, as well as DNS device naming. An alternate RS-232 upstream port is available for slower connections or dial-up modem use.
• Memory & Storage: Equipped with 6MB of on-board non-volatile flash memory capable of storing up to 250,000 cardholders. It also includes battery-backed non-volatile storage for 50,000 events, ensuring data retention. Firmware is stored in flash memory with support for background updates.
• Comprehensive Reader Support: Features two on-board reader ports compatible with Data1/Data0, Clock/Data, Bioscrypt RS-485 readers, and bi-directional RS-485 OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) communications. It supports up to 16 different card/asset formats, biometric template storage (Schlage Recognition Systems®, Bioscrypt®, and Identix®), and up to 9-digit user PIN codes.
• Extensive Access Control Capabilities: Manages up to 32,000 access level permissions, 255 holidays with grouping, 255 timezones (each with 6 intervals), and elevator control for up to 128 floors. Includes enhanced anti-passback and individual extended held open/strike times (ADA compliant).
