Overview

The Beckhoff EL6751 is a CANopen master/slave communication EtherCAT Terminal. It integrates CANopen devices into an EtherCAT Terminal network and provides a powerful protocol implementation including PDO types (event/time-driven, synchronous, polling), SYNC cycle with quartz precision, SDO parameter communication at start-up and runtime, emergency handling, guarding/heartbeat, and extensive diagnostics. General CAN (RAW‑CAN) messages can also be sent/received without handling CAN frames in the application.
