Overview
The Beckhoff EL1889 is a 16-channel digital input EtherCAT Terminal for 24 V DC signals. It uses ground switching, acquires binary inputs with galvanic isolation, and indicates each channel state via LEDs. A built-in 3 ms input filter suppresses contact bounce. The reference ground for all inputs is the 24 V power contact.
