Overview
The Beckhoff BK3100 PROFIBUS Bus Coupler connects modular Bus Terminals to PROFIBUS networks. It automatically detects baud rates up to 12 Mbaud and maps connected terminals to the process image. In DP mode it supports up to 128 bytes input and 128 bytes output; in DP and FMS mode up to 64 bytes input and 64 bytes output. Up to 64 terminals can be attached (K‑bus current 1,750 mA).
