Overview

The Beckhoff BK1150 is a compact EtherCAT Bus Coupler that links the EtherCAT fieldbus (100BASE‑TX) to Beckhoff Bus Terminals. It converts Ethernet telegrams to the internal terminal bus and automatically maps connected Bus Terminals to the EtherCAT process image. A station can include up to 64 Bus Terminals (255 with K‑bus extension). System and field supplies (24 V DC) are provided at the coupler; power contacts forward up to 10 A to I/O components.
