The Mersen Protistor® A070UD32KI1000 (Item Number Q300199) is a high-performance, ultra-fast acting square body fuse-link engineered for the specialized protection of power semiconductor devices. With a high current rating of 1000A and a voltage rating of 700V AC, this Size 32 aR class fuse is designed for heavy-duty industrial applications such as AC/DC drives, large UPS systems, and power converters. It provides superior current limitation and extremely low I²t (clearance energy), ensuring rapid circuit interruption to protect sensitive thyristors, diodes, and power transistors during short-circuit events.

The unit features a premium ceramic body and silver-plated copper KI-style bolted contacts (Metric Bolted Studs), guaranteeing excellent electrical conductivity and high resistance to thermal shock. The internal pure silver elements and high-purity silica sand filling facilitate rapid arc extinguishing, resulting in a high breaking capacity of 200kA.
